'The Vets'

As they've become to be known at Bridlewood, 'The Vets' are two students who have come to Bridlewood to gain experience as a requirement of their courses.

Lyndsey Jones (pictured left) of the University of Liverpool's Department of Vetinary Sciences, and Sam Hambleton of London's Royal Vetinary College (pictured right) are local girls who have brought their love for animals to Bridlewood.

Lyndsey, 25, grew up in Fflint and she says she wants to return to South Africa where she undertook a previous placement a few years ago.

Lyndsey enjoys reading factual books and since recently returning from a hot getaway in the Caribbean, has developed an interest of Reggae music.

Lyndsey is the owner of the her very own farmyard critters including a Dog, Pony, and Chickens!

Sam, 20, was raised in the seaside resort of Rhyl. She loves horse riding and going to concerts.

Sam has recently returned from Canada, where she wishes to return following the acquirement of her degree to work with animals.

Sam's pet preferences have resulted in her bring the owner of two dogs and one tortoise!

We'll be following the day-to-day activities of 'The Vets' for the next two weeks so stay tuned in! Subscribe to posts below and visit our facebook and twitter pages (links to the right) to connect with us!

Next week we'll be following a day of learning when the vets teach the children about horse safety and how to notice any signs of trouble!
